The 34-year-old actor claimed in his Time cover story, which was released in March, that he first felt like a guy when he was 9 years old and initially cut his hair short.
The Oscar nominee then got the chance to take a break and give his identity and future some serious thought during the COVID-19 pandemic. He explained,
“I had a lot of time on my own to really focus on things that I think, in so many ways, unconsciously, I was avoiding. I was finally able to embrace being transgender and letting myself fully become who I am.”
In a December 2020 Instagram post, Page came out in the public. Since then, the Umbrella Academy star has had top surgery, which he acknowledged was a significant step for him but not for many other trans people.
Elliot Page has certainly undergone multiple plastic surgeries to present himself as a boy. It takes a lot of procedures to represent them as a complete trans boy. Surgeries like chest restructuring, removal of the uterus, ovaries, and fallopian tubes, Metoidioplasty, Phalloplasty, and Scrotoplasty are required for a complete transition.

The clitoris is converted into a penis in this process. Before the procedure, a person will receive hormone therapy to expand the clitoris. During a vaginectomy, the surgeon also removes the vagina.
Therefore, Elliot Page has yet to reveal if he still has a vagina or a penis. However, that does not change the fact that he is happy and deserves respect for what he did. He still is a great actor and the role of Viktor perfectly fitted in the new season of the Netflix series.
