Jeffrey Dahmer’s Victims That Got Away: How Did Tracy Edward Escape? Wiki, Reddit, Netflix & 2022 Update!

Tracy Edwards was one of the victims of Jeffrey Dahmer who got away and reported to police about his doings. The police initially didn't believe his story. However, he convinced them and took the police to Jeffrey's apartment. The police found many parts of human bodies in his apartment and immediately arrested Jeffrey Dahmer in 1994. As the Netflix series just got released, many Reddit users are interested to know what actually happened. Follow to know more about Tracy with his full Wikipedia and where he is now in 2022.

Netflix has released a new limited series about a serial killer, Jeffrey Dahmer, and based on the spine-tingling trailer, true crime addicts will want to add this to their queue. Ryan Murphy, the creator of American Horror Story, and Ian Brennan, a frequent collaborator, co-wrote the script for Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

We learn how things develop for Dahmer by watching the Netflix series. This is accomplished by time leaps that can be up to ten years apart. It also demonstrates how he anticipates being caught on multiple occasions.  Ten episodes of 45 minutes each may seem like a lot, but it's not. We both witness Jeffrey's formative experiences as a young man, his development into a predator and a serial killer, and the trial that ensues after he is (finally!) arrested.

We know that police didn't catch Jeffrey Dahmer on their own. It was one of his victims, Tracy Edwards, who was able to escape his trap and went straight to the police. Similarly, many viewers of the series have been curious to know about Edward who was very close to his death. Viewers wonder how he got away. Well, let's find it out.

Previously, we touched on Konerak Sinthasomphone’s parents and Jeffrey Dahmer's Asian victim. Likewise, know if Jeffrey really got baptized and if Glenda Cleveland is a real person.

Tracy Edwards Was One of the Victims That Got Away From Jeffrey Dahmer’s Trap: Wiki, Reddit, Netflix & 2022 Update!

On July 22, 1991, Jeffrey Dahmer went out looking for victims when he stumbled upon Tracy Edwards, 32, and two of his friends. Jeffrey introduced himself as a photographer and asked if the group would like to go with him to his apartment for a racy photo shoot. The men were about to reject Jeffrey's offer because they had never met him before and were pretty hesitant about it when Tracy Edwards gave his approval. As a result, while the rest went their separate ways, Jeffrey took Tracy up to his apartment.

Tracy entered the apartment and immediately became quite wary due to the foul smell. In addition, he noticed bottles of hydrochloric acid lying around while a blue drum in another room was dispersing an unpleasant smell. Tracy wasn't even able to get his bearings before Jeffrey distracted his attention by putting a handcuff on his wrist and saying it was a prop for the photo shoot.

After taking the intended victim to a second room, where Jeffrey Dahmer told Tracy that he meant to consume his heart and the serial killer's actions changed. Surprisingly, Tracy maintained his composure throughout and started thinking of a strategy to get away while assuring Jeffrey of his friendship. When a chance presented itself, he eventually convinced Jeffrey to return to the first room and Tracy hit the serial killer in the face before escaping by the front door.

Outside the apartment, Tracy encountered two policemen, who at first didn't believe his story due to the handcuffs around his wrist. However, he convinced them to go with him to Jeffrey's apartment, where they discovered human body parts, including an entire human head, hidden inside a refrigerator, as well as Polaroid photos of victims who had been severed from their bodies. Even though Jeffrey made every effort to fight the police and get away, he was eventually outmatched and dragged away in handcuffs.

Tracy made the decision to pursue a lawsuit against the Milwaukee court following Jeffrey Dahmer's arrest because he believed that by not taking the earlier allegations against Jeffrey seriously, the Milwaukee court had failed in its duty to safeguard the public. Tracy eventually had the lawsuit dismissed, and he was able to get back to his regular routine.

However, Tracy continued to run into legal issues and was unable to steer clear of a life of crime in the years that followed. In fact, according to sources, he accrued a significant criminal record and was detained for crimes like narcotics possession and theft.

Tracy has reportedly been homeless since 2002, but he made headlines once more in 2011 after he and Timothy Carr threw Jonny Jordan, another homeless guy, down a bridge following an argument. Unfortunately, Jonny drowned to death that same year, and Tracy was sentenced to a total of one and a half years in prison for his part in the incident. Unfortunately, Tracy has chosen to remain anonymous since that time, making it difficult to determine where he is now in 2022.

After being convicted responsible for 15 charges of murder, Jeffrey Dahmer was sentenced to 957 years in prison. However, Dahmer died while being transported to the hospital after being attacked by another murderer while imprisoned at the Columbia Correctional Institution in Portage, Wisconsin, in 1994.
