On November 28, 1994, Christopher J. Scarver (another prisoner) killed Dahmer when they were cleaning the restrooms and dressing rooms at the prison gym. Follow to know how he actually died in detail.

With the release of the first trailer for Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan's documentary DAHMER - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, true-crime enthusiasts are sure to have a thrilling Friday. On top of the already informative, if not disgusting, trailer, we can now officially announce that the series will premiere on Netflix on September 21 at 12 a.m. PT. We are extremely thrilled to finally see the results of the cast and crew's labor since the series was first announced back in 2020.

Jeffrey Dahmer brutally killed seventeen innocent people between 1978 and 1991. The documentary DAHMER - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story explores these heinous crimes, focusing on the underprivileged victims and the communities they live in, as well as the institutional racism and police failures that allowed one of America's most notorious serial killers to carry out his murderous rampage for more than ten years.

This is not the first time Jeffrey Dahmer's story has been portrayed on a screen. Most of us already have a hint on what actually happened. Similarly, many people are interested to know about his personal life. They want to know what he used to do for a living. Well, let's find it out.

Previously, we touched on Konerak Sinthasomphone’s parents and the victim who got away from Jeffrey Dahmer.

Jeffrey Dahmer obviously used to work for his living. Before being arrested and accused of 17 counts of murder in 1991, notorious Milwaukee murderer and cannibal pursued a number of different jobs. Young Dahmer joined the Army, but his drinking issue led to his discharge in 1981. Dahmer began working the late-night shift at the Ambrosia Chocolate Factory in 1985.

Even after he was found guilty in 1989 of sexually assaulting a minor, he managed to keep his employment thanks to a work release program. But he was fired from the chocolate factory for chronic absenteeism not long after his work release program came to an end.

From 1978 until 1991, Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer killed and dismembered 17 men and boys in his own apartment, many of whom were persons of color and several of whom were minors. His method of operation included cannibalism, necrophilia, rape, and dismemberment.

Jeffrey Dahmer passed away on November 28, 1994, while he was a prisoner in the Columbia Correctional Institution in Portage, Wisconsin. He was found by correctional authorities on the floor of the gym's lavatories at around 8:10 a.m., covered in his own blood and with severe head and facial injuries. He was brought to a local hospital but was declared dead an hour later despite still being conscious and breathing at the time.

He had been struck in the head and face with a 20-inch (51 cm) metal rod, resulting in serious brain trauma that caused his death. Additionally, reports state that throughout his attack, his head was repeatedly slammed against the wall.

Jeffrey was murdered by Christopher J. Scarver, a native of Wisconsin, a previous killer who is currently serving time at the Columbia Correctional Institution. He, Jeffrey, and another prisoner, Jesse Anderson, were given the task of cleaning the restrooms and dressing rooms at the prison gym when they were sent to a work detail that morning.

Christopher struck the other two males with a metal rod after the officers left the three unattended for around 20 minutes. When a different officer questioned him about why he hadn't been working after an early return to his room, he admitted to the killings and claimed,

God told me to do it. Jesse Anderson and Jeffrey Dahmer are dead.

Authorities were informed by Christopher, who was already serving a life term for a murder committed in 1990, that he had first used the metal rod to beat Jeffrey while he was cleaning a staff bathroom before turning to Jesse (he passed away two days after the attack due to his extensive injuries).

Christopher also claimed that while Jeffrey was being attacked and beaten, he did not scream or make any other noises. He insists that the killings were not planned, but he did acknowledge that he had previously taken the metal rod from a piece of exercise gear in the prison gym. Christopher received two more life terms as punishment for these two deaths.

Before killing Jeffrey, Christopher allegedly cornered him, showed him a newspaper clipping outlining his crimes, and inquired as to whether they were all true. Then, he stated that he was horrified by what Jeffrey had done and that for a long time, the latter had been making mock limbs out of his food and ketchup to insult the other prisoners.
