It chronicles the story of Lori Vallow, who became known as the Doomsday mom in the US media following an astonishing series of events involving countless fatalities, religious fanaticism, light, and evil spirits, and zombies across three episodes, each more horrifying than the last. Vallow, along with her fifth husband, Chad Daybell, is awaiting trial for first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the murders of her fourth husband, Daybell's former wife, and two of Vallow's kids, Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow, who were 16 and seven at the time of their deaths, respectively.

Those close to JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan worried that Lori's obsession with the apocalypse had taken a hazardous turn because she maintained the conviction that her two youngest children were zombies not long before JJ and Tylee went missing.
Tylee was last spotted in late September 2019 traveling to Yellowstone National Park with Alex Cox, Lori's brother. JJ, on the other hand, was last seen by witnesses in his elementary school, just before his mother pulled him out of every class in favor of homeschooling.
Following their disappearance, friends and acquaintances alike requested authorities to check on the children's wellbeing. Regarding J.J., Lori Vallow and her new husband Chad Guy Daybell claimed that he was living in Arizona, where they had resided before moving to Idaho in early September 2019, with a family friend named Melanie Gibb. When the police called Gibb, she informed them that Joshua was not there and had not been for a number of months.
A little more than a week later, Gibb called the police to report that Lori and Chad had both asked her to make up information about J.J.'s whereabouts and that she had refused. Tylee was also reported missing as a result of the police's search for J.J.
However, it wasn't until June of the following year that their dead bodies were discovered. Police issued a search warrant at Chad's residence on June 9, 2020, and there they found J.J. and Tylee's corpses. According to the autopsy report, Tylee's body was burned, dismembered, and dumped in a pet graveyard on the property while JJ was discovered dead inside a plastic bag that had been duct wrapped. Only Chad and Lori are aware of the full facts behind JJ and Tylee's demise at this time in the ongoing investigation.
However, Police discovered a series of cryptic communications that turned out to be quite instructive. According to the affidavit, Chad texted,
Well, I’ve had an interesting morning! I felt I should burn all of the limb debris by the fire pit before it got too soaked by the coming storms. While I did so, I spotted a big raccoon along the fence. I hurried and got my gun, and he was still walking along. I got close enough that one shot did the trick. He is now in our pet cemetery. Fun times!
Later on the same day of finding the bodies, Chad was arrested on suspicion of destroying or concealing evidence. Lori and Chad were charged on May 25, 2021, with the first-degree murders of Tylee, J.J., as well as Tammy. Since their children's remains were discovered, they are no longer thought to be missing, and the focus of the inquiry is now on figuring out how they died.
We don't have all the information because this case is still very much open. Although Lori is suspected of killing her children, we do not currently have proof of this.
