Lori Vallow’s Court Date: Judge Boyce Has Recently Set a New Date for Her and Chad Daybell’s Trial; Latest Update!

According to the latest update, both Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell's court date has been scheduled for Jan 9, 2023. Both of them have been charged with multiple charges like murdering Tylee & JJ, the death of Charles Anthony Vallow & Tammy Daybell as well as obstructing authorities.

True crime documentaries have recently included some mind-bogglingly awful stories, but Netflix's newest series, Sins Of Our Mother, is especially terrifying. It examines the case of Lori Vallow, a mother who was allegedly brainwashed by a cult leader and charged with the murder of two of her children.

It is still a pending legal matter in the US, which explains why so much attention has been given to it. This three-part documentary depicts the story mostly through the perspective of Vallow's surviving son, Colby. Director Skye Borgman previously oversaw two other significant true crime stories for the streamer, Girl In The Picture and I Just Killed My Dad.

Vallow and Chad Daybell were accused of killing Tamara, Tylee, and J.J. in March 2021. A grand jury in Arizona charged Lori Vallow with conspiring to kill her husband Charles in June 2021. Due to mental health difficulties, Vallow herself had previously been found unable to stand trial; but, as of April 2022, that determination has been reversed. Similarly, many fans are eager to know about her court date. Well, we've got you covered.

Lori Vallow’s Court Date Update: The Judge Recently Scheduled Her as Well as Chad Daybell’s Trial for Jan 9, 2023!

Lori Vallow's court date is scheduled to be on Jan 9, 2023. She is currently awaiting trial. Her murder trial was suspended in 2021 after she was determined to be mentally unfit for trial on separate counts of concealing evidence. She was then admitted to a mental health facility in the state. But a judge earlier this year ruled that she was mentally capable to face trial. Boyce decided to maintain the joint prosecution of Vallow Daybell and her husband, Chad Daybell, in May, according to NBC station KSL TV.

The Daybells might receive the death penalty if found guilty. Their trial has been postponed from earlier in October to Jan. 9, 2023. According to court filings from May 2022, Lori Vallow's legal team requested that the trials be held separately; however, Judge Boyce denied the request. Now, let's know about her story and how her children were found dead.

Joshua Jaxon Vallow and Tylee Ashlyn Ryan were last seen on September 8 and 23, 2019 respectively, however, Lori Vallow Daybell did not report them missing. She and Chad had really begun telling people right away that she didn't have any young kids and that the one she did have, Tylee, had passed away in 2017.

Deputies didn't interrogate Lori about J.J.'s disappearance until November when frightened family members filed reports, and that's also when they learned about Tylee. It didn't help that Lori later left Idaho with Chad after lying to them and saying her son was living with a family friend in Arizona.

After receiving a notice in January 2020 to present her kids in order to verify their well-being, Lori Vallow was only found on Kauai, Hawaii, and arrested on February 20, 2020, after that failed. In two weeks, Lori was deported to Idaho on charges of failing to provide for and abandoning her dependent children, but even then, she still refused to disclose any information.

The Rexburg police department stated two sets of unidentified human remains had been uncovered the day before on Daybell's property in Fremont County, Idaho, on June 10, 2020. The same day, Daybell was taken into the Fremont County Jail on unspecified charges, and Fremont County Prosecutor Rob Wood confirmed the remains were children. The Rexburg Police Department determined the remains belonged to Tylee and JJ on June 13, three days later.

For her dishonesty, Lori Vallow is additionally accused of resisting or obstructing officers, criminal solicitation to commit a crime, and contempt of court in addition to the two counts of desertion and murder. The State of Arizona also indicted her in late June 2021 for the killing of her fourth husband, Charles Anthony Vallow, who was reportedly shot and killed by her brother, Alex Cox, in July 2019. As if all of this weren't enough, the demise of Tammy Daybell, Chad's former wife, has also been connected to Lori.

Additionally, according to the indictment, they also have theft and insurance-related allegations. Daybell Vallow was charged with grand theft in relation to Social Security benefits for her deceased children on one count. Regarding two life insurance fraud offenses involving policies he had on Tammy Daybell, Daybell was charged. Both defendants rejected the allegations of insurance fraud and grand theft.

Lori Vallow Daybell has also been charged with misdemeanor resisting or obstructing authorities, criminal solicitation to commit a crime, and contempt of court, according to court documents filed after her arrest in 2020.
