Zainab/Zanab Jaffrey (@zanabjaffrey) was born on March 31, 1990, in Irvine, Scotland, however, she has Pakistani ancestors. This explains the origin of her name. She and her family moved to the US when she was in the fifth grade, and she grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan Area. Zanab has a sister who lives in England and is eight years older than her. Her parents split while she was young, and she lost her father when she was 13 on a waterskiing trip in Lake Worth.
Zanab's father returned to the boat and reportedly had back discomfort; despite the fact that medical help was dispatched to treat him and transport him to the hospital, he ultimately passed away. Her stepmother Beverly, whom she loves, received legal custody of her after that. Zanab has known her from the age of eight and helped raise her. She also has a stepbrother named Ryan through Beverly.
Similarly, the reality star's mother passed away at the age of 18 due to brain tumors; although the growth had been benign and not cancerous, the tumors did not respond to chemotherapy and kept spreading, ultimately causing her death.
Zanab enrolled at Tarrant County College in 2008, and she earned her Associate of Arts in General Studies there in 2011. She joined the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society there as well. She attended the University of Texas at Arlington from 2012 to 2014 where she earned a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Public Relations/Image Management.
Zanab currently resides in Irving, Texas's planned community of Las Colinas. Since June 2014, she has volunteered at Three Square Food Bank and assisted with Bagged Groceries. The reality TV personality enjoys reading and working out. She also likes to travel the world, cook, and spend time with her family.
Talking about her professional life, Zanab began working in June 2006 when she accepted the role of Magnolia Home Theater Admin at Best Buy in Hurst, Texas. She remained there until February 2010. She started working as a temporary receptionist at Hillwood in June of the following year and remained there through December 2011. She also worked as an executive administrative assistant for Win-Sam Incorporated's accounting and human resources division in Fort Worth, Texas, from January 2012 to March 2015.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas hired Zanab as a brand marketing intern in June 2014, and she worked there for three months. She began working as a Business Media Sales Specialist at MultiView in March 2015 and remained there through March 2016. Similarly, Zanab joined American Airlines as a flight attendant in April of the same year and is still working there as of this writing.
The reality TV personality worked as a spin instructor at LA Fitness in North Richland Hills, Texas, from May 2017 to July 2020. She started working as a part-time instructor at Spenga in Southlake, Texas, in March 2021 and held that position through March 2022. Zanab began working as a Realtor for Ebby Halliday in December 2020 and is still doing so now. She tries to offer her clients the best properties possible by utilizing her understanding of the Dallas-Fort Worth Area.
