In fact, the couple was the first one who got engaged in the latest season. Later, things got a little shaky when they discussed their respective families and how each would fit into the other. As a result, Reddit users wonder if they are still together. Well, the couple later solved their arguments. From what we've seen so far, we believe Alexa and Brennan/Brennon definitely got married and are still together.
A new season of Love Is Blind on Netflix has brought in a lot of new relationships, including one instance of love at first sight (or sound) from Brennan/Brennon Lemieux and Alexa Alfia, the season's first engaged couple. On October 19, Netflix released the first four episodes of Love Is Blind. Brennon, 32, and Alexa, 27, undoubtedly were the highlight of the premiere.
After a few blind dates in each of their pods, Brennan/Brennon and Alexa introduced themselves, got to know one another, and quickly realized they have more in common than just a passion for food. In contrast to other couples, Brennon and Alexa remained in love after spending their first night together in episode three.
Their love stood tall over the other contestants, even though things became a little shaky when they discussed their respective families and how each would fit into the other. Given the previews for the upcoming episodes and what seemed to be a tense interaction with Alexa's family, many viewers, especially Reddit users, are left to wonder if they are still together. If we're being really honest, there were instant sparks and a comforting sensation in the air when then-29-year-old Insurance Manager Alexa Alfia (@alexaalfia) first saw the genuine southern charmer in the pods. After all, they could start a conversation about food right away and then let it naturally lead to their families and backgrounds without even a single awkward silence. 30-year-old Sales Coach Brennan/Brennon Lemieux's (@brennonlemieux) ability to prepare Shakshouka, a dish popular among Jewish Israelis, like her, and their shared experience in the kitchen only added to their connection.
Because of this, Alexa even quipped, "we’re the perfect match over here… Do you want to get married now?," on the very first day, to which Brennon said, "I'm into it," and then he smiled. But as the days went by, they became more and more intimate by talking openly about both their actual goals for the future and the anguish they experienced as children growing up in dysfunctional families.
Before Brennon shut all other doors and joyfully exchanged "I love yous" with Alexa, they appeared to have discussed everything, from potential problems to the value of family approval to children. Brennon openly said in a confessional,
I was extremely skeptical of this entire experiment. I guess maybe I’m just trying to figure out what being in love really is, but… I feel good. Alexa is making me a believer in this process… [She] makes me feel good; she makes me feel heard. She makes me feel comfortable, [and] trusted.
Brennan/Brennon said he was obsessed with her without even seeing Alexa, and happily, she matched his feelings, so he got down on one knee without thinking twice, even though love was the only thing truly dangerous that was lacking from his life.
It was clear that Alexa and Brennon were really thrilled with the way their first meeting went, in which they largely embraced one another to communicate their intense emotions. It, therefore, came as no surprise that they could easily enhance their pod experience over the first few days of their Malibu vacation through effective communication on romantic dates.
Yes, there were a few (understandable) pauses this time, but overall they shared the same sense of humor, personalities, and emotional and physical desires. In other words, it didn't seem like there were any problems between Alexa and Brennon in any way, shape, or form. If they can keep it up, we can't imagine either of them saying "I don't" at the altar.
Families, religious differences, or even the idea of things getting out of control too rapidly may be the tipping point for either. but given how understanding they have been of one another up to this point, we don't really see it occurring. However, if issues do occur, all the couple would have to do is recall the initial cause of their love and acknowledge that it was just as real as anything else, and they might just be able to handle it.
We do need to point out that it is a little concerning that Alexa and Brennon are not mutual followers on social media currently, even though they have undoubtedly been hiding their left hand since filming wrapped up in the summer of 2021. Therefore, there is a very strong likelihood that they got married and are still together.
