The cast and crew of Virgin River season 4 traveled north of Vancouver to Squamish, a town and district municipality at the northern end of Howe Sound, to film new scenes. For Season 4, The Watershed Grill at 41101 Government Road in Brackendale also operated as the popular hangout, Jack's Bar.
Watershed Grill is a beautiful location with stunning views of the mountains around the Brackendale Eagles Provincial Park. Additionally, some scenes with Mel and Jack were shot here near the Squamish River. Some parts were also captured along the Squamish River in British Columbia, a small but enormous river. The bar's interior, however, was captured in Vancouver studios.
Additionally, the majority of the significant scenes for the show were filmed in Metro Vancouver, a metropolitan area whose main urban center is in Vancouver.
