Clea Shearer's Husband is John Shearer: Family & Kids Explored!

Clea Shearer, the co-founder of The Home Edit, has been married to her husband, John Shearer for over a decade. John is a professional photographer and a director who has been working for different celebrities for a long time. When it comes to children, Clea Shearer and her spouse John Shearer also have a son and a daughter together. After the release of Netflix's Get Organized with The Home Edit Season 2, fans were desperate to know about Clea's relationship status. Here is detailed information about Clea's relationship with her husband as well as her family and kids.

Clea Shearer from Get Organized with The Home Edit Season 2 on Netflix was born in Los Angeles, California, on February 1, 1982. Shearer was a Parsons School of Design student who majored in fashion and was determined to stay in the profession.

Shearer's organizational skills, on the other hand, kept her open to new employment opportunities. Clea Shearer had always wanted to establish her own business, so she began looking for a partner she could trust and count on for creative ideas.

In the fall of 2015, Clea Shearer met Joanna Teplin, with whom she co-founded The Home Edit, a full-service home organizing firm. In less than a day, the two ladies met through a mutual friend and immediately planned out their entire new company which is today a well-known corporation.

Recently, Netflix released Get Organized with The Home Edit Season 2 where Clea and Joanna help different celebs and clients to organize their households just like in Season 1. And fans have been curious to know more about them, especially Clea Shearer's husband. Here is everything we know about Clea's husband.

Previously, we touched on Lauren Conrad and her husband William Tell. Likewise, we discussed Joanna Teplin's net worth plus Clea's fortunes.

Clea Shearer's Husband John Shearer: The Couple Shares Two Kids!

Clea Shearer (@cleashearer) is married to a professional photographer and Nashville-based director, John Shearer. Clea married her husband, John, in May 2009, and the couple has managed to keep the spark alive in their relationship even after a decade.

Despite having a journalism degree, John has been a well-known figure in the entertainment sector for a long time. He has been in the photographic field for 15 years and works with celebrities.

Celebrities such as Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Bob Dylan, and Ariana Grande are among his high-profile clients. John worked as a staff photographer at Getty Images in the early 2000s. In 2011, he left the company to launch his own agency, InVision. He returned to Getty Images after four years and has been working there ever since.

Clea and John Shearer have two children who they are very fond of. Stella Blue, their first child, was born on March 25, 2011. On April 18, 2014, the couple welcomed their second child, Sutton Gray, three years after they had their first child. Apart from spending her leisure time with them, Clea Shearer has made it a point to teach their children the importance of keeping the house in order.

The friendship between Clea and John Shearer is still going strong. There are no signs of tension or difficulties in their relationship. They still have a mutual desire and respect for each other which reflects that they have a perfect relationship.

On the other hand, Clea Shearer has a lot on her plate between parenting her children, filming a Netflix show, and handling the everyday tasks of The Home Edit. Shearer and Teplin take their work seriously, but they also enjoy a good chuckle.

The Home Edit's Instagram feed (@thehomeedit) is filled with amusing posts that showcase the girls' wacky, fun-loving personalities.

Before The Home Edit, Clea And Joanna Had Failed At a Number Of Businesses

Many people may not find organization exciting, yet in 2020, people all over the world began binge-watching TV shows about it.

Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin, who own their own organizing service in Nashville, Tennessee, star in the Netflix series Get Organized with The Home Edit. All kinds of celebrities invite these two inside their houses, which is when things start to get interesting.

Recently, Netflix released the second season of the home organizing show and viewers are totally loving the show. However, Clea and Joanna were not successful every time. The co-founders of The Home Edit admit they were struggling before they met in 2015.

In an interview with Tamron Hall Show, Teplin said,

I've had a number of, you know, trials and errors as far as different businesses that I have tried and failed at.

Nothing seemed to be working for Teplin, from a greeting card company to assisting brides with their wedding invites. She was motivated to start a new business when her husband received a new job and moved their family to Nashville, Tennessee.

Fortunately, Shearer's husband had also moved their family to Nashville at the same time. She was all about organization, but no one in business saw her potential at that time. In the same interview, Shearer said,

I actually applied to work for an organizing company in Nashville, and they turned me down!

Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin agreed to establish The Home Edit together almost as soon as they met, seemingly by coincidence. After all, they were under the impression that they had nothing to lose.
