She even decides to learn the language, enrolling in a French class where she meets British finance bro Alfie. She soon finds herself in yet another love triangle, this time including herself, Alfie, and her lingering love Gabriel. Amidst all this love and flings, many want to know where the show was shot apart from what will happen with Emily's love life.

Created by Darren Star, and premiered on Netflix on October 2, 2020, the rom-com stole the hearts of many. Emily in Paris Filming Location: Is the Netflix Show Really Shot in Paris?

The announcement of Emily in Paris by Paramount network happened on September 5, 2018. Later on July 13, 2020, the series moved from Paramount to Netflix. While the casting began in April of 2019, it wasn't until August of 2019 that the shooting and principal photography of the filming location began.

Yes, Emily in Paris was shot in France. The principal shooting took place in Paris and its suburbs. As serene as the place is, the beauty of the rom-com is automatically elated as Paris is no doubt the star of the show.

To begin, Emily's fifth-floor flat is located on Place d'Estrapade Square in the 5th arrondissement and is old yet charming. Emily goes for her early morning jogs at the Jardin du Luxembourg, which is close by. It's a 25-hectare park with gardens, fountains, and ponds, as well as a lovely pavilion - perfect for a summer picnic.

Emily's workplace is located above Galerie Patrick Fourtin in Place de Valois, adjacent to Jardin Du Palais Royale, another beautiful park where she meets her new best friend Mindy played by Ashley Park.

The iconic scene where the model walks naked on a bridge as part of a controversial new ad campaign is at Pont Alexandre III, one of the most marvelous bridges in Paris.

Also one of the memorable scenes where Emily hotfoots to the ballet were on Palais Garnier. As pretty and as artistic as Emily in Paris is, it features a scene of a digital exhibition at Atelier des Lumières providing an immersive look at Vincent van Gogh's work. Some scenes also comprise the 13th-century castle Château de Sonnay. Many fans of the series also seem to be visiting the place to live the scenes of Emily of Paris in real life.

A series surrounding love, life, and art in France, it's obvious to see multiple artisanal cafes. Boulangerie Moderne by Thierry Rabineau on Rue Des Fosses Saint Jacques, features a scene of Emily in the artisanal bakery.

Le Maison Rose is another beautiful restaurant where the series has been shot. It capitalizes on its reputation for fresh, seasonal fare like salmon with garlic saffron aioli and seasonal fruit cheesecake, and it's a total find in terms of food, setting, and mood, thus being perfect for the aesthetics of Emily in Paris. Café de Flore, Les Deux Comperes, and Le Grand Véfour are some of the other eye-catching places featured in the beloved series.

What's Season 2 of Emily in Paris Bringing?

Emily, played by Lily Collins, added another love interest to the mix in Season 1: Alfie, played by Lucien Laviscount. Despite their growing affection, Emily hasn't quite healed from the devastation she and Gabriel played by Lucas Bravo in the finale.

Their feelings for one other haven't dissipated, and neither has their mutual love and admiration for Camille, played by Camille Razat. This puts them in an awkward situation, which is compounded when Alfie and Gabriel create a bond that keeps them closer together than Emily would prefer.

As follows: "a stinging parody of femininity; a sympathetic depiction of an Ugly American; a transmogrified Sex and the City fanfic in which Carrie instead of giving up all to marry Big, lives her Paris dream. Emily in Paris, on the other hand, is a story of redemption."

According to Hollywood Reporter, the season is likely to be a tremendous hit, with a third season in the works. Apart from the many, many needless musical interludes starring Emily's disgraced billionairess bestie Mindy (Ashley Park) busking with her new street band, the second season was described as "springy as munchable as the first."

The second season of Emily in Paris was released on December 22 and is a hit! The cast includes Lily Collins as Emily CooperPhilippine Leroy-Beaulieu as SylvieAshley Park as Mindy Chen,  Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, Samuel Arnold as Julien, Bruno Gouery as Luc, Camille Razat as Camille, and William Abadie as Antoine Lambert.

Emily in Paris Season 2 is streaming on Netflix.
