Lucien Laviscount was recently seen onscreen as Alfie, Emily's boyfriend in Emily in Paris Season 2. The actor was born to bodybuilder parents, Sonia Laviscount (mother) and Eugene Laviscount (father), who currently run their own gym.

Lucien Laviscount is a British actor, who rose to prominence after appearing in a teen drama Grange Hill in 2007. He currently stars in Emily in Paris.

He also worked in Sony Crackle’s crime comedy-drama Snatch for which he was nominated in the category of Best Supporting Actor by National Film Awards UK in 2018.

His father Eugene Laviscount is no unknown name. He is a former bodybuilder who now runs his own gym center.

Lucien's dad was crowned Mr. Britain and he won the European Championship and was first runner-up in World Championship in bodybuilding organized by National Amateur Body-Builders' Association (NABBA)in 1984. His fitness regime is much admired even today.

Lucien Laviscount also has two siblings; Louis Laviscount and Jules Laviscount. He seems to be quite close with his siblings as he shares their pictures on his social media handles.

Early Life of Lucien Laviscount

Lucien Laviscount grew up in Lancashire's Ribble Valley, with his parents and two siblings, both brothers.

The actor graduated from Ribblesdale High School in Clitheroe with ten GCSEs. He also took part in Carol Godby's Bury theatrical workshop.

Lucien Laviscount's Acting Career

Laviscount started his career at a very young age at ten when he appeared in an advertising campaign for Marks & Spencer in 2002. He later went on to work in programs like Clocking Off and Johnny and the Bomb.

What made him prominent was the role of Jake Briggs as a series regular in the BBC One series Grange Hill in 2007. Lucien Laviscount also made a guest appearance in the British adaptation series Life Bites.

In 2009, he was cast as a series regular in ITV’s British soap series Coronation Street in which he essayed the character of Ben Richardson, a religious swimmer. The actor also appeared on BBC One’s Waterloo Road in 2010.

In 2011, he competed in Channel 5's reality series Celebrity Big Brother where he lasted till the final week and finished fifth. He guest-starred in shows such as Supernatural, Skins, Death in Paradise, and Still Star-Crossed.

He also portrayed Earl Grey as a regular character on the first season of the horror-comedy Scream Queens on Fox in 2015. After then he starred in Sony Crackle’s crime comedy-drama Snatch as Billy Ayres from 2017 to 2018.

The 29-year-old also played the role of Alexander Cabot in the CW series Katy Keene. He was recently seen in Emily in Paris Season 2 as Alfie, the titular character's love interest.
