Did Sara Evans Undergo Weight Gain?
Lately, there has been a surge in public interest in Sara Evans, more especially her weight. Many people want to know if she has gained weight for some reason.
The speculations about her weight gain that is translating to searches on the internet seemingly came out of nowhere because there is nothing that suggests that the country singer has undergone any noticeable weight fluctuations.
In fact, we are more curious about this growing curiosity regarding her weight gain when she is in the news for almost getting hit with a car by her estranged husband Jay Barker.

What happened Between Sara Evans and Jay Barker?
It looks like the only thing Sara Evans needs to lose is the weight of Jay Barker. Sara Evans’ estranged husband Jay Barker has been arrested after he attempted to run the country singer over with his car in Nashville on Saturday.
The Born to Fly singer had just arrived at her home after returning from a party at a neighbor’s house and was passing her driveway when Barker was also parked.
Upon spotting Sara, Barker backed up his vehicle at a very high speed attempting to hit her and her friend but somehow missed. After the incident, he fled the scene before Sara could call for help from the cops.
The police did arrive at the scene at around 1:30 am. Sara Evans and a witness told police that they believed that Barker had intended to hit the car they were in. As per the affidavit, Barker returned to the place and spoke with the officers, and was ultimately arrested.
The former NFL player was then charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, per his arrest report, following the early morning incident. Barker was placed on a 12-hour domestic violence hold at Davidson County Jail in Tennessee. As per the arrest report, his bond was set at $10,000.
The following evening, on Saturday, he was released on bail at around 7:30 pm.
After the incident, it has come out that the singer had filed for divorce from Jay in August 2021 citing irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct. And the arrest affidavit has the couple listed as separated.
Following his release, Jay made a post on IG asking for privacy while addressing his arrest. He posted that the ‘headlines do not adequately capture the full context of the challenges his family is currently facing’ and he loves his family dearly.
The American singer-writer tied the knot with the Jay Barker show host on June 14, 2008, in Franklin, Tennessee. The CMA winner was previously married to Craig Schelske. She had three kids with him, Avery Jack, Olivia Margaret, and Audrey Elizabeth. The couple’s divorce was finalized on September 28, 2007.
