In the seventh episode of the show, Maggie speaks with Micky during a recess and explains that she has given in to his wishes, and Tanya will be relocated away from Soto. When Mags arrives to deliver the good news to Tanya, she hears of a friend who worked at one of Soto's nursing facilities in Cebu City.

Soto had her killed, though he said it was her friend being transported home on an aircraft. A flower shop looks to be the key to proving this and demonstrating that Soto has killed people.

Murray, a deputy who was on the site at the time, talks first, describing how Trevor was dispassionate as he led them through the crime scene and said he didn't kill Lara three times.

Mickey, on the other hand, digs deeper during cross-examination. Trevor was handcuffed, and the second cop had his weapon drawn. Mickey is off to a good start, and Trevor even makes a passing remark about it.

Detective Kinder, played by Kadeem Hardison (@kadeemhardison), is next, and he has significantly more experience in the area than Murray, making him a tougher nut to crack. The prosecution continues to run down the clock until 3 minutes before the conclusion of the day, when Mickey casts further doubt, notably on Jan Rilz, Anton Shavar, and the affair.

It's enough to set the tone for the rest of the day, with the jurors questioning the account - especially because the investigator acknowledges they never looked into the aforementioned affairs in any depth. Later, Mickey brings Detective Kinder and Anton Shavar to court, with the latter maintaining he is not a violent man.

Furthermore, Kadeem Hardison is an American actor best known for playing Dwayne Wayne on the NBC comedy A Different World, a spin-off of The Cosby Show.  He is also well recognized for his role as Craig Cooper in the Disney Channel series K.C. Undercover.

Hardison was born in Brooklyn, New York, to famed fashion model Bethann Hardison and fine art collector Donald McFadden. He grew up with three sisters and three brothers.
