So Netflix has brought a new espionage thriller In From The Cold. The latest Netflix original is an action-spy thriller with a supernatural element. The eight-episode series was released all at once on January 28, 2022.
The show revolves around an American single mother whose history of working as a Russian spy comes to haunt her after she is abducted by the CIA as a series of unmotivated murders takes place throughout the city.
This show especially grabs all the attention because it is female-led. The Adam Glass-created thriller stars Margarita Levieva, Stasya Miloslavskaya, Cillian O’Sullivan, Lydia Fleming, Charles Brice, and Alyona Khmelnitskaya.
How is Ivanna Sakhno Involved with In from the Cold?
According to Deadline, Ivanna Sakhno was cast to play the role of Anya in the series In From the Cold. However, the actress is nowhere to be seen in the recently released Netflix series.
As it turns out, Ivanna Sakhno has been replaced by Stasya Miloslavskaya in the show for unspecified reasons. Pressing further into these matters, In From The Cold production was scheduled to begin in March 2020, which was exactly and unfortunately when Ivanna Sakhno was diagnosed with Covid-19. So, it appears like the showrunners decided to replace her.
Meanwhile, the female-driven spy thriller is headlined by Margarita Levieva who portrays the role of Jenny Franklin.

Who is Ivanna Sakhno?
Ivanna Sakhno (@ivannasakhno) is a Ukrainian actress, who is mostly known for playing the role of a hitwoman Nadejda in an action-comedy film The Spy Who Dumped Me in 2018.
She is also recognized for her role as Cadet Viktoriya in a 2018 science-fiction monster film Pacific Rim: Uprising. In Ukraine, she had already gained recognition after appearing in 2005 in the first-ever Ukrainian-language sitcom, Lesya + Roma, and the 2013 biopic Ivan the Powerful.
Ivanna Sakhno was born on November 14, 1997, in Kyiv, Ukraine. Born in a family which was mostly local filmmakers, the apple didn't fall far from the tree as she began to form an interest in cinema herself from a very young age.
She was just seven in 2004 when she watched the movie, Amelie when she developed a passion for acting. In 2005, she appeared in a series Lesya + Roma, a Ukrainian adaptation of the successful Canadian sitcom Un gars, une fille, that brought her into the spotlight.
She later left Ukraine when she was thirteen to study English in Vancouver, Canada. She also attended several casting workshops there. In one of such workshops, she was discovered by Janet Hirshenson and Jane Jenkins. Later, in 2018 she came to the attention of Katelyn Feuling.
In 2013, Ivanna shifted her base to the United States of America with dreams of establishing herself as an actor in Hollywood. In America, she went to Beverly Hills High School and later to the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. In the institute, she learned acting under the guidance of Ivana Chubbuck.
In the same year that she landed in America to pursue a career in acting, she made her debut in a Ukrainian feature film, a biopic Ivan the Powerful in the role of Milka.
However, it was not until 2016 that her work for Hollywood acting career came to fruition and she landed her first major role in Hollywood. She starred in Thomas Dunn's thriller film The Body Tree taking up the role of Helen.
Following that, in 2018, Ivanna Sakhno had two big-budget releases with Pacific Rim: Uprising and The Spy Who Dumped Me.
In 2021, Ivanna Sakhno landed a role in a Disney Plus series Star Wars: Ahsoka in which she will star opposite Rosario Dawson and Natasha Liu Bordizzo. The creators of the show are hoping to start the production in March 2022.
