One of the most anticipated Netflix hit Daughter from Another Mother (Madre Solo hay Dos) is back on Netflix after it was renewed for Season 2. The second season brings with it a lot of unanswered questions from the debut season plus some new cast members in supporting roles.
Daughter from Another Mother is a Netflix family drama that follows the lives of two women who decide to come together despite being polar opposites to raise their daughters that were interchanged at birth. (Some fans are already looking forward to Season 3!)
Season 2 aired with all episodes at once on 24 December. Apart from the actors in the main roles reprising their roles, there have been a few additions of actors.

Daughter from Another Mother Netflix Season 2 Cast
Kenya Marquez will direct an episode going into the second season of Daughter from Another Mother and joining the cast for season 2 includes new actors Vicky Araico, Samantha Orozco, and Roy Verdiguel.
To recap the drama so far, we see Ludwika Paleta and Paulina Goto playing the titular mothers, Martin Altomaro as the husband of one of the mother, Liz Gallardo as one of the mother's moms, and Javier Ponce as boyfriend to one of the mother. We also see Oka Giner and Elena del Rio.
Ludwika Paleta
Ludwika Paleta plays Ana Servin in the drama, Daughter from Another Mother. Ana is a career-driven businessman who is tough and uptight who wants to go to an upscale hospital for delivery and limit the time her child can be held. She is planning to raise the baby as per a baby manual. She is already a mother to two kids.
Ludwika was born on November 29, 1978, in Krakow, Poland. Her family moved to Mexico after her musician father was offered a job in Mexico. She started her acting career in 1989 after she was offered a role in Carrusel when she impressed the casting directors in an audition her sister took her on a whim.
The Daughter from Another Mother star did another TV series El Abuelo y yo in 1993. She also worked in Huracan, Palabra de Mujer, Los exitos Perez, and La querida del Centauro.
She is quite fluent in English, Spanish, and Polish languages. She is very popular in Latin American countries.
Paulina Goto
Paulina Goto portrays Mariana Herrera on Daughter from Another Mother, who is a free-spirited college student who is into breastfeeding as long as possible and natural water births at home. She gets pregnant from a difficult on/off relationship and worries that he is not going to be there for the baby.
Paulina was born on July 29, 1991, in Monterrey, Mexico. She is an actress, singer as well as television hostess. She rose to fame after her debut role in the Mexican telenovela Niña de mi Corazón in 2010. She played the lead in a teen telenovela Miss XV in 2012.
She is also recognized for her works in Mi corazón es tuyo, Un camino hacia el destino, and El vuelo de la Victoria. She was also a member of a Mexican-Argentine pop group, Eme 15 from 2011 to 2014.
Martín Altomaro
Martin Altomaro is seen in the role of Juan Carlos, husband of Ana who goes on to have affair with Marianna's mother which disrupts the arrangement of Ana and Marianna.
The Daughter from Another Mother cast was born on 26 May 1976 in Neuquén, Argentina. He is a Mexican theater, television, and film actor. He has worked in lots of television series and movies since 1992.
He started to be recognized when he appeared in the series Soy Tu fan in 2010. Some of the works he is known for are Nonna's trip, Anoche soñé contigo and Sin dejar huella.
Liz Gallardo
Liz Gallardo from Madre Solo hay Dos plays the role of Teresa, Mariana's mother. She ends up being involved with Ana's husband, which angers her after which she kicks Marianna out of her house effectively ending their arrangement. She tries to bring Pablo back into Mariana's life.
Liz was born on November 28 1979 in Guadalajara, Mexico. She started gaining fame after she played Tania in El búfalo de la noche in 2007. She has worked in En tierras salvajes, Seres: Genesis, Las Aparicio, and Bajo el mismo cielo.
Javier Ponce
Javier Ponce appears as Pablo on Daughter from Another Mother, Marianna's boyfriend and the father of her newborn daughter. Even if their relationship does not work out, he is ready to do anything to be a part of her daughter's life. After their relationship goes into shambles, he gets involved with another girl.
Javier was born in Guadalajara, Mexico on March 12, 1994. The Mexican actor is widely known for his many recurring television roles. He made his acting debut in the series Un Camino Hacia el Destino in the role of Vladimir in 2016.
He started to gain more recognition when he got his second recurring role in Papis Muy Padres as Antonio in 2017. He is also a model and football-lover. He has about 230k followers in his Instagram account.
Oka Giner
Oka Giner portrays the character of Elena, who has some unexpressed feelings towards Mariana.
The Daughter from Another Mother cast was born in Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico on November 30, 1992. She is a Mexican actress who started gaining recognition for her debut role in a Mexican television series Gossip Girl: Acapulco as Bárbara Fuenmayor in 2013.
The Netflix star also played a recurring role in Señorita Pólvora in July 2014. After that, she appeared in the Telemundo telenovela Bajo el mismo cielo in July 2015. She studied Polynesian dances like Hawaiian and Tahitian dances for 11 years.
Elena del Río
Elena del Rio plays Cynthia on Daughter from Another Mother, Ana's workplace assistant who gets together with Pablo.
Elena was born on 15 March 1991 in Mexico. She is known for playing the role of Clara on Pacifico Norte and Luca on Lime Ice Cream. She also appeared as Regina in the comedy TV series Promesas De Campana.
The Daughter from Another Mother cast also did theatre before coming to television. She attended the Center for Artistic Education (CEA) Televisa, an entertainment educational institution in Mexico.
