He appears in the eight-episode, titled In Vaulted Halls Entombed, of the Netflix show alongside Joe Manganiello. Follow the article to know more about Jai Courtney and his character in the show.

Love, Death + Robots, a Netflix animated anthology series created by Tim Miller, is a remake of the 1981 animated film Heavy Metal. As you might have guessed from the title, the series consists of short stories that center on the specific themes of love, death, and robots. Essentially, the show explores different histories, robot life in a post-apocalyptic context, and the struggle for world dominance.

And now the new season of the Netflix series is back again. Season 3 of Love, Death, and Robots is a collection of sci-fi shorts that was amazing in season 1 but a letdown in season 2. But what about season 3? It's incredible, and it's a welcome return to form for the series.

One of the interesting characters of the new season is Spencer who is featured in the eighth episode titled In Vaulted Halls Entombed. The episode depicts a Special Forces unit tracking down a group of hostages in the middle of rocky terrain. Love Death + Robots Season 3: Jai Courtney Plays Spencer!

Episode 8 of Netflix's animated series follows a Special Forces unit as they try to locate a group of hostages who have taken refuge in a secret cave.

When Coulthard and his Special Forces unit, which includes Spencer (Jai Courtney) and Harper, arrive at the cave, they engage in light banter to help them relax. The lighthearted moment, on the other hand, serves as a foreshadowing of the truly horrific events to come.

The squad then comes across a rotting soldier's body on the side of the road. Following that, the gang is attacked by a swarm of alien beings that resemble cockroaches. The soldiers try to retaliate, but they are overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of creatures.

As the creatures eat the troops, only Coulthard, Harper, and Spencer remain. While the survivors hunt for the failed mission and strive to complete it despite the difficulties, they come across a god's tomb.

The trio quickly understands that their purpose is doomed and that forces bigger than they could have anticipated are at work. As a result, the trio makes an attempt to exit the cave. However, the group is attacked by another swarm of aliens.

Spencer counteracts the attackers, allowing Coulthard and Harper to escape. The two return to the grave to discuss their position. However, before they can devise a strategy, the troops are startled by the voice of an extraterrestrial monster that has taken up residence in the cave's empty depths. In an attempt to break out from confinement, the creature attracts the troops to itself.

The character of Spencer is played by none other than Jai Courtney (@jaicourtney). He is an actor from Australia. Before being cast as Charlie in the action picture Jack Reacher, he had tiny roles in films and television series. He went on to star in films such as A Good Day to Die Hard (2013), I, Frankenstein (2014), and The Exception (2016).

In the television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand (2010), Jai Courtney played Varro on a regular basis. In the science fiction action picture Divergent (2014), he played Eric, and in 2015, he reprised the character in Insurgent. His other cinematic credits include In Terminator Genisys (2015), Suicide Squad (2016), and The Suicide Squad (2021).

Moreover, Jai Courtney has a rope, a skull, and a dog tattooed on her body. Courtney received two tattoos from his Suicide Squad co-star Margot Robbie, including a sketch of Queensland after losing a State of Origin bet and a tattoo that says 'SKWAD' to commemorate his involvement in the film.

Not to forget, Jai Courtney was previously a smoker who claimed in 2019 that he had quit years before. Similarly, Pinch Hitter's All of a Sudden from their debut album, When Friends Die in Accidents, included Courtney on backup vocals.
