If you're not aware, the 43-year-old was born in Lincolnshire, so she spent months perfecting her voice for her role in a drama about Cilla's life and career. She even recorded all of her vocals for the three-part series and discovered that her new teeth helped her acquire the correct intonation to flawlessly emulate the pop star's voice. In an interview, she stated that all she had to do was put her new false teeth in and start singing with a Liverpool accent. She explained,
I just had to whack my teeth in and I was away. I sang with them in because they change the shape of your mouth and it really helps with the accent and the way Cilla speaks.
Although the difference was minor, the complexity of the deficient teeth undoubtedly provided believability to the three-part drama. With a smile on her face, it appeared like Sheridan Smith was looking forward to bringing a young Cilla Black to life on screen. Furthermore, Jeff Pope's TV drama captured the atmosphere of 1960s Liverpool' and focused on how her link with Ringo Starr led her to the attention of Beatles manager, Brian Epstein and producer, George Martin.

They are about to embark on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Fiji when Erin refuses to board the plane, leaving Lori to complete her voyage alone. Everyone on board the plane is thought dead after the plane fails to arrive at its destination, but Erin is determined to learn the truth about the plane and her sister's disappearance. Meanwhile, Lori is forced to struggle for survival against the elements and others after escaping the plane crash.
The first trailer for the show shows Smith in character as she prepares to go to the luxurious resort until turbulence rocks the plane and she holds an air mask in dread. He'll be joined by Ghost in the Shell's Lasarus Rateure as Felix Vatabua, Bull's Dominic Tighe as Daniel Elridge, and Wrong Turn's Charlotte Vega as Amber Gordon. Furthermore, the series will be directed by Andy and Ryan Tohill from a script written by Ben Harris.
