It's possible she ate a nutritious, well-balanced diet low in processed foods, refined carbs, and harmful fats. After seeing the episode, bewildered fans flocked to Twitter (X) to scream over Lana's split-second decision in such a risky situation. One user wrote: "I'm loving series 2 of #triggerpoint, but I've noticed how Lana takes her helmet off just as she's about to deal with high explosives/fiddle with bombs". Another added: "Lana puts bomb-proof helmet on. Enters room. Finds bomb. Removes helmet. #TriggerPoint."
However, Vicky McClure later clarified why Lana removed her helmet during a bomb deactivation. The actress remarked, "I had to keep explaining that if she kept it on and the bomb went off that close, it wouldn't protect her. If she takes it off, it is less distracting and won't knock a potential device or obscure her vision."
The 40-year-old also revealed that she was given the option of wearing a lighter costume version of the uniform for the job or the actual hefty and 'not comfy' outfit provided to expos. She told the press,
It's not comfortable. It's warm, and I hate being chilly, so I'm always grateful. It's not comfy. It's warm, and I hate being cold, so that I am always grateful for.
There was a choice this season where costume said, 'We could make something for you', because it's so incredibly heavy. I said no, I just feel like I'm an actor when they shout cut, I can just take the helmet off. I think it's important for us to show the real deal. The gear wasn't as accessible for women as most of those uniforms are typically made for men.
