Chrissy Metz (@chrissymetz) stated that she has always been chubby and heavier as she was born this way genetically. Chrissy Metz's weight loss and weight gain are usually a hot topic of conversation on tabloids. Likewise, she has always appeared to look heavier and is also known as a plus-size actress.

When it comes to her weight, she was born chubbier, although she mentioned being active in sports during her school years. She also mentioned that she has been fasting since she was in elementary school in order to avoid having unnecessary weight gain.

Moreover, because of her plus-size figure, Metz has never seemed happy, and she has been bullied since she was in elementary school.

Chrissy Metz also mentioned sadly that her mother couldn't buy her fit and any kind of perfect dress because she was chubby since she was a child. The actress stated that she had some awkward experiences when she was 11 and had to go to weight watchers (she was the youngest person there), which made her feel horrible about her physique, and that her mother couldn't help her because it was a process.

While the actress encourages people to lose weight in a healthy and safe manner, she admits to having tried crash diets in the past. Metz made her big-screen debut in 2017, and she told People she was a size 12 at the time.

Chrissy Metz claims that this had a significant impact on her mental health, driving her to binge eat by "eating her feelings" and gain 100 pounds as a result. Not only that but Metz was also abused by her stepfather, who tormented her because of her size.

Likewise, talking about her weight loss, when she was entering her 30s, she lost 100 pounds in five weeks due to a panic attack. As of today, she appears to be busy at work and eating a healthy diet to maintain her weight, and we have noticed a lot of progress.

However, in comparison to previous years, she has gained weight, which might be due to her show or she could be continuing on the same weight gain path as previously.
