Camila Mendes (@camimendes) was born in Charlottesville, Virginia, on June 29, 1994, to Gisele Carraro and Victor Mendes. The Do Revenge cast's ethnicity is automatically Latino because both of her parents are natives of Brazil. She also has an older sister named Viviane Mendes.
Camila moved to Atlanta shortly after her birth, then went back to Virginia and eventually settled in Orlando, Florida. Camila Mendes' first acting role was in an IKEA commercial. Mendes was cast as silver-tongued high school sophomore Veronica Lodge in Riverdale, a subversive interpretation of the Archie Comics, in the 2016 season of The CW's teen drama series. Mendes's agent was The Carson Kolker Organization, which later changed its name to CAA. She also appeared on the covers of Women's Health and Cosmopolitan, respectively, in December 2017 and February 2018.
