‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ Season 2 New Cast & Characters: Netflix Update!

Season 2 of Netflix's 'Fate: The Winx Saga' is back on Netflix and viewers are interested to know about the new cast members and characters. Among the new faces in the series, some of the major names include Miranda Richardson as Rosalind, Paulina Chávez as Flora, Éanna Hardwicke as Sebastian, Brandon Grace as Grey, and Daniel Betts as Professor Ben Harvey.

The universe of Fate: The Winx Saga on Netflix is one in which magic and supernatural creatures are widespread. A young girl named Bloom who was raised to believe that she was simply another typical human being is the protagonist of the show. She learns in her teenage years that she was actually adopted by human parents and is a fire fairy. This dramatically alters Bloom's self-perception and sets her on a mission to learn more about her ancestry. She learns that in addition to her regular fairy abilities, she also possesses the legendary Dragon Flame.

Season 2 of Fate: The Winx Saga, an Iginio Straffi live-action adaptation of the Italian animated series Winx Club, will see the storylines of the strong fairies continue to develop as new cast members (and a new fairy!) join the seven-episode run.

Previously, we touched on if Silva dies in Season 2.

Season two of Fate: The Winx Saga has finally arrived on Netflix, and we can't wait to see what Bloom and her friends at Alfea have in store for the brand-new episodes. Abigail Cowen as Bloom, Hannah van der Westhuysen as Stella, Eliot Salt as Terra, Elisha Applebaum as Musa, and Precious Mustapha as Aisha all return for season 2 of Fate: The Winx Saga. However, because numerous new faces have joined the show's amazing cast, viewers may expect to see a few new faces around the magical boarding school in Otherworld. Let's have a glance at some of the major new cast members.

Miranda Richardson as Rosalind

Fans may remember that the first season ended on a dramatic cliffhanger with Headmistress Dowling, played by Eve Best, being killed by Bloom's lifelong rival Rosalind. Rosalind assumes control of Alfea at the start of the next season after covering up her crimes.

The character was portrayed in season one by Lesley Sharp, most recently seen in the murder drama Before We Die, but Miranda Richardson, a two-time Academy Award contender, has taken over for season two. The role of Rita Skeeter that the 64-year-old actress played in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will live on in people's memories. She also co-starred with Johnny Depp in Sleepy Hollow, and she has also had appearances in Made in Dagenham, Good Omens, and Blackadder.

Paulina Chávez as Flora

Following complaints of whitewashing from viewers after the Latina fairy was seemingly replaced by a newly created character named Terra in the first season of the show, Flora, played by Paulina Chavez (@paulinafchavez), one of the most beloved characters from the original animated series of Winx Club, has finally been introduced in the live-action remake. In an interview with Distractify, Pauline discussed the character of Flora and said that she is feisty and extremely confident, well-traveled, and comfortable in any setting. Paulina featured in The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia before being chosen for the Netflix adaption.

Éanna Hardwicke as Sebastian

Viewers will first meet Sebastian in Blackbridge, the neighborhood outside of the magical boarding school. He is an old friend of Alfea's and has a past with Rosalind as well as her predecessor, Headmistress Dowling. Connell's high school friend Rob was played by Irish actor Éanna Hardwicke (@eannahardwicke) in the movie Normal People, but that isn't his only connection to the Sally Rooney world! Additionally, he is rumored to be dating Conversations with Friends star Alison Oliver.

Brandon Grace as Grey

In the new season, viewers will be happy to see that Grey and Aisha get along well right away and that things quickly develop into something romantic. Grey is one of the new Specialists at Alfea and he shares Aisha's passion for swimming. Brandon Grace, who portrays Grey in Fate: The Winx Saga, recently graduated from the Guildhall School of Acting, making this his first television role.

Daniel Betts as Professor Ben Harvey

For season two, Professor Ben Harvey has undergone the same casting changes as Rosalind. Formerly portrayed by Alex Macqueen, Terra and Sam's father and the school's botany teacher will now appear in the new episodes as Daniel Betts. Fans may recognize the actor from his roles as Prince Ernst von Hannover in The Crown, Hinscliffe in Gentleman Jack, and Sergeant Morris in Sex Education.

Additionally, Fate: The Winx Saga is now streaming on Netflix.
