Specialists From 'Fate: The Winx Saga': Do They Have Magic? Specialists vs Fairies!

Specialists from Netflix's 'Fate: The Winx Saga' are the warriors who are responsible for defending the school and the Otherworld as a whole during times of war. The special army is led by Saul Silva, who puts them through intensive training in anticipation of potential unrest in the near future. Additionally, they don't seem to have any magical powers when compared to the fairies in the show.

'Fate: The Winx Saga' on Netflix tells the story of Bloom, a fire fairy who realizes she is far more powerful than she believed. Even If the mystery is put together, Bloom's power's full potential is still hidden. Just when she believes she has found a means to control her power, she finds out something new that she needs to get a grasp on. While individuals like Farah Dowling and Rosalind Hale make an effort to mentor Bloom, none of them truly understand her potential.

The Netflix series creates a complex web of lore, magic, and prehistoric history when it comes to worldbuilding. Fate: The Winx Saga, the newest live-action adaptation of the beloved and long-running Winx Club animated series on Netflix, borrows heavily from the original in terms of tone, characters, and story stakes but makes considerable alterations to the environment.

Recently, the Season 2 of the show got released on the streaming platform. Even if Season 1 was watched by not-so-many viewers, Season 2 has been able to gather a lot of viewers. Similarly, they have been wanting to know a lot of things about the series. One of the most interesting subjects on the show is the Specialists. They wonder who they really are and what power they possess. Well, we've got you covered.

Specialists in ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ Are the Warriors Who Don’t Have Magical Powers but Are the First Line of Defense During a War; Specialists vs Fairies!

Specialists are warriors in Netflix's Fate: The Winx Saga who are given the duty of defending the Otherworld from the Burned Ones and train at Alfea. The Alfea logo is embroidered on the upper half of the arms of the sweater that the Specialists all wear over their light black leather armor. They also have a dagger attached to their front armor and a sword strapped to their back.

Riven is an exception; unlike most of the Specialists, he is seen carrying two smaller swords on his back. He is also seen holding two smaller wooden swords during his training session with Sky. This suggests that Specialists are not restricted to a single type of weapon but rather have the option to select one that they prefer.

Fairies and specialists make up the majority of the student body at Alfea, the school of Hogwarts in the Winx Saga. The former are magical beings with the capacity to use one of the six principles of elemental magic: earth, air, fire, water, light, and the mind. Except for the fact that fairies' eyes change color depending on their elemental specialization—for example, Aisha's eyes turn turquoise blue when she channels magic since she is a water fairy—fairies resemble humans on Earth in appearance.

Fairies use their own emotions as a source of strength to produce their magic, which is enhanced when they perform in the Stone Circle, a sacred area that is thought to contain a tremendous quantity of prehistoric energy. Each type of fairy has a distinct set of magical abilities; for example, mind fairies like Musa are particularly skilled at telekinesis, manipulating pain, and empathic sense. Similar to this, light fairies like Stella have complete control over the element, using abilities like astral projection, invisibility, and illusion manipulation in the process.

Specialists at Alfea, on the other hand, are warriors-in-training who are responsible for defending the school and the Otherworld as a whole during times of war and strife. The specialists, who are referred to as the first line of defense between the realm and those who want to destroy it, are led by fencing instructor Saul Silva, who puts them through intensive training in anticipation of potential unrest in the near future. In addition to serving as a mentor, Silva acts as a father figure for Sky, a very talented specialist who appears to have lost her biological father when she was a small child.

In addition to this, the fairies and specialists cooperate when Alfea is attacked in the Season 1 finale, A Fanatic Heart, which is a significant element of their preparation against the Burned Ones in the earlier episodes. Residents of the Otherworld defend themselves from unwanted threats with the use of elemental magic and quick military combat—a relationship that is expanded upon in Season 2.

Additionally, Fate: The Winx Saga is now streaming on Netflix.
