When Morrone was 12 years old, his father passed away in 2003.
After seeing a Harry Potter movie when he was just 11 years old, Morrone decided that he wanted to be an actor. In middle school, he took part in an after-school acting program. Due to poor behavior, Morrone failed his first year of high school. He then enrolled in professional acting classes at Pavia's Teatro Fraschini di Pavia.
