Many media like Wikileaks and Fox News presented their own theory. Later, Jack hired Kevin Doherty for a profiling project. However, Kevin shot Jack twice after an argument. Follow the article to know more about Jack Burkman and what he is up to now.

The streaming rankings for the brand-new Netflix documentary Web of Make Believe: Death, Lies, and the Internet have exploded. The six-part anthology docuseries examines the tales of people who have become entangled in the complex web of modern misinformation and digital deception.

The series was directed by Brian Knappenberger, who has also worked on documentaries including We Are Legion: The Story of the Hacktivists and The Internet's Own Boy: The Story of Aaron Swartz and Ron Howard as a co-producer.

Seth Rich, a 27-year-old employee of the Democratic National Committee, was murdered in the Bloomingdale district in July 2016. Following his passing, a number of conspiracies surfaced in an effort to justify Seth Rich's murder, including Ed Butowsky's involvement, different theories from Wikileaks and Fox News. While everything was going on, Republican lobbyist Jack Burkman met Seth's family and at first claimed to want to help them figure out what had happened.

That didn't seem to be the case, though, as it would turn out. A Murder in D.C., the second episode of the Netflix show focuses on the case and Jack's involvement. Well, let's find out everything about Jack Burkman right below.

Who Is Jack Burkman? What Theory Did He Surface About Seth Rich’s Death? Kevin Doherty Shot Jack Twice After an Argument!

On July 10, 2016, Seth Rich was killed, and the police initially stated it was an attempted robbery. Jack Burkman, a Republican lobbyist, then offered a $130,000 reward for information leading to Seth's murder. He claimed to be sympathetic at the time to the family's plight due to Seth's name being linked to numerous conspiracies.

However, things changed the following year. Jack claimed that he had proof that the Russians murdered Seth as a result of learning of their role in the DNC email leaks. Jack went on to suggest that the attempted robbery wasn't a reasonable hypothesis and that he learned this knowledge from someone claiming to be a former US intelligence official. Then, Jack's family started to stay far from Seth.

Jack Burkman is reported to be a well-known conspiracist in a number of reports. His protest against the Dallas Cowboys for adding an out player to their practice squad in February 2014 also made headlines. Additionally, it was suggested that Jack and Jacob Wohl, a fellow conservative and Trump supporter, conspired to make up false sexual misconduct claims against Robert Mueller, the former FBI director.

In October 2020, an email from someone named Lorraine indicated that she was given money to accuse Robert of sexual assault. The person who offered the money worked for Jack, according to the email.

However, there was no way to confirm Lorraine's identification. Apart from that, Jack accused Supreme Court Justice John Roberts of drug usage but gave no substantiating proof. Additionally, he made an effort to create sexual harassment claims against Senator Elizabeth Warren.

If we go back to Jack Burkman's involvement in Seth's case, he hired a former Marine named Kevin Doherty to create a psychological profile of Seth's killer. But in July 2017, Jack fired Kevin following a series of disagreements. Following that, Kevin began writing Jack and claimed to have information that would be detrimental to the FBI.

In order to lure Jack to a garage in a parking lot in March 2018, Kevin pretended to deliver paperwork. However, he shot Jack twice before running over Jack and escaping the scene.

During the 2020 presidential election, Jack Burkman and Jacob were accused of sending thousands of robocalls across many states to discourage minorities from casting mail-in ballots, bringing them into the heated air once more. False claims were made in these calls that voters' mailing-in ballot information may be used to look up past warrants, collect debts, or locate them.

The Federal Communications Commission demanded a $5.1 million penalty in August 2021 from Jack and other parties for the robocalling. According to a 2020 report, Jack is the host of the right-leaning radio show, Behind the Curtain with Jack Burkman, and lives in Arlington, Virginia.
