Couples are compelled to choose between getting engaged or breaking up on the show. It doesn't help matters that one partner is ready to take the next step in the relationship before the show, while the other is hesitant to completely commit.

The couple left the show early because they were engaged, but she reappeared in a later episode when the ladies were invited to her bachelorette party.
Hunter recently turned off his Instagram comments when the dating show originally aired. Hunter Parr and his girlfriend, Alexis Maloney, joined the rest of the actors outdoors when The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On premiered on Netflix, and he shared a still photo from the show.
He wrote in the caption, “In less than 24 hours, you’ll be able to watch me put my relationship on the line. Hope y’all enjoy the drama!”
Hunter then turned off comments on all of his posts before reactivating them on a limited basis. As a result, only specific accounts, presumably those he follows, are able to leave comments on his pictures.
