April and Colby from The Ultimatum: Are They Still Together?

April Marie and Colby Kissinger from The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On had a connection after they met during the dating other's partner segment of the Netflix show. April's boyfriend, Jake Cunningham, was not ready for marriage, and Colby's girlfriend, Madlyn Ballatori, was unsure about their relationship. Despite their connection in The Ultimatum, April and Colby were unable to continue their bond due to various reasons. Go through the article to know detailed information about April and Colby's relationship.

After being mentioned at the conclusion of Season 2 of Love is Blind, the spin-off series The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On has finally arrived on Netflix, and viewers are thoroughly entertained.

The show follows six couples who are at the stage in their relationship where they will either marry or physically separate. In the social experiment, their relationships will be pushed to the limits since one is ready to marry while the other is afraid of commitment.

When Colby Kissinger and Madlyn Ballatori joined the social experiment, they had been dating for over a year. Despite this, Madlyn remained unsure about their relationship, leading Colby to give her an ultimatum in season one. Meanwhile, April Marie gave her boyfriend, Jake Cunningham, an ultimatum when he said he wasn't ready for marriage.

However, after Colby and April met, they appeared to be quite comfortable with each other, leaving viewers to wonder if their romance would work out. Well, let's find out.

The full cast includes Madlyn Riley Ballatori, April Marie Melohn, Shanique Imari (Nikki), Alexis Maloney, Lauren Pounds, Rae WilliamsColby Kissinger, Randall Griffin, Nathan Ruggles, and Jake Cunningham. The additional cast member includes Zay Wilson.

Previously, we looked at Lauren and Nate, Alexis and Hunter, and who ends up together.

Colby Kissinger and April Marie's Journey On Netflix's The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On

Despite the fact that Colby Kissinger (@colby_kiss) looked to be very committed to Madlyn Ballatori (@madlynballatori) and wanted to settle down with her, it was Madlyn who was unsure if it was a smart idea. Colby gave her an ultimatum since she did not believe in having a single partner for the rest of her life.

April Marie (@itsaprilmarie), on the other hand, was looking forward to settling down with her partner, Jake Cunningham (@itsjakecunningham), and raising a family.

Meanwhile, Jake stated that he wanted to try new things and improve his financial situation before taking the next step in their relationship. April was terrified, so she included him in the experiment in the hopes of receiving a proposal.

Surprisingly, both April and Colby seemed open to the experiment and quickly warmed up to one another. April eventually admitted that Colby was not her first choice, but she accepted fate's offer, and the two agreed not to waste the chance.

Despite the fact that the two looked to be incredibly comfortable with one other and had built a beautiful relationship, the lack of a romantic connection was noticeable. April remained to mourn for Jake, and it looked like she was ready to back out of the experiment at one point.

When April finally got the chance to see Jake again, she saw that he wasn't the same guy he used to be. Jake met Rae Williams (@rae.williams) throughout the experiment, with whom he formed an incredible relationship. Going back to April after being with Rae proved to be a difficult task for him.

April, on the other hand, was dissatisfied and depressed at not being able to provide her boyfriend with what he desired in a relationship. With no one else to rely on, April appeared to be completely lost, and her destiny remained unknown until the very final day.

Here Is Why You Should Not Watch Netflix's The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On

"Psychologists agree that an ultimatum is not a good way to get somebody else to do what you want," Nick Lachey confesses in the first episode, which is probably why there aren't any on the show. The lack of psychologists or professional counselors in the series does the show harm, not only in terms of credibility but also in terms of the cast's mental health.

A lot of the cast members are in desperate need of counseling, and all of the couples could use some advice and relationship skills that they haven't picked up from their fellow cast members.

The participants frequently depend on the counsel of their trial partners, who frequently have a hidden purpose because they, too, have developed emotions.

Nick and Vanessa, like in Love Is Blind, take The Ultimatum: Marry Or Move On so seriously that they are unaware of the fact that it is a completely ridiculous idea.

At times, the show feels like a nightmare; all of these individuals go into the show believing that their partner would choose to marry them in the end, and they don't even consider the possibility of falling in love with someone else along the way. The regret people feel when this happens is evident.

Given that the participants are so young, with the majority of them in their early to mid-twenties, it's also strange and almost unpleasant that they place such a high value on this one relationship working out and the feeling of urgency they attach to marriage.

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On is currently streaming on Netflix.
