Netflix has brought a new historical action drama, which is another Viking series. The spinoff to the original Vikings - Vikings: Valhalla (all eight episodes) has been released on the streaming platform on February 25.
The series revolves around a new generation of Viking warriors and is set a hundred years after the events of Vikings.
Since the show focuses on tension escalating between the Vikings and English royals, one of the main characters of the show whose journey this is about is Canute who leads the Vikings in the invasion of England.

King Canute, who is also called Canute The Great, is a savvy, ambitious, and ruthless ruler. He became King of England in 1016, King of Denmark in 1018, and King of Norway in 1028 - collectively referred to as North Sea Empire, and held the thrones till his death in 1035.
The show shows his journey from being a ruthless and fearsome Viking warrior and leader to becoming a wise and savvy King of the North Sea Empire, a unification of the thrones of England, Denmark, Norway, and even areas of Sweden and the Baltic coast.
He starts with successfully invading England which was done in retaliation for the murder of Vikings. But he has no plans to stop now. He has his dream and ambitions beyond the throne of England, which is of an empire in Northern Europe. He is a cunning man who is open to both paganism and Christianity.

Who is Bradley Freegard?
Bradley Freegard is a Welsh actor. Bradley (@bradfreegard) was born on January 1, 1983, in Pontypridd, Wales. He got the acting bug from a tender age. So, he joined National Youth Theatre in 1994 when he was eleven.
After four years, by 1998, he had begun acting in theatres. His first acting role was as Agrippa in Antony and Cleopatra at the English Shakespeare Theatre company. One year later in 1999, he managed to get an onscreen debut through the movie Human Traffic.
As a theatre artist, he did several stage productions like Horrible Histories, King Lear, The Rabbit, Romeo And Juliet, As You Like It, Hamlet, etc from 1998 to 2008. As for on-screen, he made appearances in several television series like The Bench, A Mind to Kill, First Degree, Largo Winch, Teulu, EastEnders, Doctors, and Da Vinci's Demons.
The roles for which he is most known are Mei Huws in Gwaith/Cartref and Evan Howells in Keeping Faith.
With all those multiple acting credits, when Bradley Freegard got prominence, it was in 2015 because of the movie Under Milk Wood in which director Kevin Allen cast him in the role of Sinbad Sailors.
Bradley Freegard is in a marital relationship with a Welsh actress Eve Myles. They first met in 1994 when he first joined the National Youth Theatre of Wales. They both graduated together the same year from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
They were theatre sweethearts as they started living together soon after they met in 1994. And they continued their living arrangement till 2013, after which they took another step in their relationship by getting married.
The couple tied the knot in Italy on 18 May 2013, and since then, are enjoying their marital bliss. They have three daughters together.
Bradley stands tall at six feet three inches. He weighs about 98 kgs (215 pounds). He has dark brown hair and blue eyes. He is a Capricorn.
