Why Did The View Suspend Whoopi Goldberg?
On the talk show with other hosts in The View, Whoopi Goldberg as well as the hosts were talking about certain books getting banned. At that instant, they were specifically talking about the book Holocaust, and for that particular book, Whoopi made a comment on how Holocaust isn't about race.
To that point, her statement was totally erroneous, and upon the realization of her hurtful comment, Whoopi apologized to everyone, however, the Abc news wanted Whoopi Goldberg to learn from her mistake and wanted to ensure that the mistake isn't redundant.
Therefore, publicizing her suspension on Twitter, Whoopi has been suspended for exactly two weeks.
