Gabi Butler is mostly recognized for her standout roles in the Netflix documentary series Cheer. She's known for her seemingly impossible flips and spins that have amazed millions of social media followers. She has also won global championships and just established her own clothing brand.

However, beyond all of the flowers and sparkles, Gabi is a competitive 23-year-old lady who has perfected her skill through relentless dedication and endless hours of pushing herself to the limit.

The Olympic cheerleader shares how weight loss secrets, her daily routine works, how she tackles nutrition, and whether she is thrilled about competing in the Games.

Gabi Butler, a Boca Raton, FL native, was first featured on the YouTube series Cheerleaders when she was eight years old and subsequently rose to renown as a member of the Navarro College cheerleading squad in Cheer.

Both of those episodes provided a behind-the-scenes look at the hardships of being a member of a competitive cheering squad, as well as the sacrifices necessary to win several championships. Butler's extraordinary abilities and outgoing personality made her an immediate success.

Gabi Butler Recalls Her Instant Weight Loss: What's Her Diet Plan and Workout Routine?

Gabi Butler had abs at the age of 12 and was able to eat as much as she wanted without gaining weight. But now that she's in her twenties, the cheerleader's diet is becoming more important for her health and weight loss.

Butler revealed that she felt like she was gaining some weight when she was 17 and was worried about how her body was transforming. She gained a solid 15 pounds. She claimed that it was a test for her and that she was self-conscious about it since she was no longer a little immature person.

Then she discovered what worked for her right away, which was simply eating healthier. Gabi Butler says,

It is very common in the cheer world for girls not to eat as much. They will not feed their bodies in the way that they should, because they are afraid of being too big to get into the air, or won’t be lifted, or become a top girl. I personally feel like I’m strong, confident, and feel very powerful with my body. To me, if you have strength, then it doesn’t really matter about being super, super tiny.

Butler just continued going once she started seeing results, and today she is more confident in her physique than she's ever been. She has lately changed her eating habits to a plant-based diet and reduced her meat consumption.

With the help of Silk, the high-flyer is still able to acquire enough protein in her diet. She claims that she is a huge fan of Silk's oat milk.

In addition, Gabi Butler recently stressed that her Watermelon Cleanse Diet and fasting are useful for more than just her physical look, as they also improve her mood by decreasing toxins in her body.

Cheer Alum Gabi Butler's Career and Rise to Stardom

Gabi Butler began cheering when she was eight years old while she was still living in Florida. She belonged to the Top Gun and Trinity All-Star gym. In 2010, she competed in the World Titles as part of the team Top Gun and Trinity, while still winning several local championships.

Unfortunately, she got injured a month before the event and was unable to compete. She was prepared to leave cheering after the disappointment until her career took a turn for the better.

Gabi Butler was given the opportunity to cheer for the Cali SMOED All-Star squad from California. She left Florida and joined the team as a result of her second chance at life. She and her team won the World Championships in 2013 and 2014.

In 2014, she and her team earned a jacket in the NCA, but it was also her final year as a member of Cali SMOED. In November of the same year, she joined the international team Gymtyme Blink IOC5. Gabi Butler joined Weber State in 2021 and continues to root for them to this day.

Butler's two Scene Championship rings, as well as her participation on the reality web series Cheerleaders (2013), made her a celebrity in the competitive cheering world. On March 3, 2013, her first episode, titled Eat, Sleep, Cheer, debuted to positive reviews.

Gabi Butler has made it a point to teach young athletes all over the world about cheering while continuing to cheer. She also has a YouTube channel where she shares behind-the-scenes footage from her cheerleading career.

She has made it plain that she wants her legacy to be defined not just by her sporting accomplishments, but also by what she has given back to the community.
