The Deathless Mother is initially revealed to the fans in the second episode of Season 2 titled Kaer Morhen. In the nightmares of Yennefer, Fringilla, and Francesca, she emerges as a hooded figure taking them to a cabin in the woods with no locks. You must also say a terrifying spell to glimpse of her of your own volition.

Fringilla's first assumption that the Deathless Mother is a malevolent witch rather than an ancient Elven divinity appears to be foreshadowed. She then takes possession of Ciri, forcing Geralt and Yennefer to fight hordes of creatures in an attempt to exorcise the demon from Ciri's flesh. Yennefer presents herself to be possessed instead of Ciri in a last-ditch bid, and the demon retreats to Yennefer for a brief moment.
Ciri, Geralt, and Yennefer (with Voleth Meir within her) are teleported to Voleth's homeworld, where Voleth frees Yennefer's corpse and joins the Wild Hunt. Yennefer, Geralt, and Ciri are reunited at the end of the season, free of the demon's grip.
